Hi, lovelies! 💛 I hope you’re having a fantastic Wednesday! Every now and again, we all need a full on pampering sesh. The thing is, a spa day at some fancy hotel is quite pricey. It’s also time consuming, especially if you have a lot on your plate at the moment.
Personally, my skin is super sensitive. I tend to break out easily, which gives me a bit of anxiety about doing things like going to the spa. I also don’t always have the money to treat myself in that way and my schedule can be a bit hectic. If you’re like me, an at-home spa day may be the perfect solution!
Ever since high school, I started implementing “spa days” as a form of self care. My favorite way to relax after a long day is to take a bubble bath, paint my nails, and listen to music.
After work on Thursday, I treated myself with a trip to Lush. That day, I found the cutest products for my spa day tradition and it inspired this post!
If you’re in need of a little TLC, here are 20 essentials for an amazing at-home spa day! Grab your comfiest robe and some cucumbers…cause it’s time to treat yourself!
20 Amazing At-Home Spa Day Essentials
1. Face Cleanser
Buying the right cleanser is important, since it removes things like oil, makeup, and dirt from your face.
My favorite cleanser at the moment is Purity Made Simple One-Step Facial Cleanser by Philosophy. I fell in love with the brand after trying their cleanser! The formula is super gentle and leaves my skin feeling soft.
I also recommend soap bars, because they’re practical and affordable. My personal favorite is Olay’s Ultra Moisture Beauty Bar. Lush’s Honey I Washed the Kids Soap Bar is amazing too! It’s gentle enough for the whole family to use and it smells so good!
I lit the candle last Friday during my spa-day and it reminded me of relaxing nights at the beach with Alejandro!
4. Lip Scrub
The packaging is absolutely adorable and it has helped so much with dryness. Alejandro has even been applying it at night, lately!
5. Body Lotion
Their Cucumber Melon variety is also such a classic B&BW product. All of these varieties have a soothing scent and will give you spa-day vibes!
Moisturizer is another must-have for the perfect at-home spa day!
My mom actually recommended L’Oreal Revitalift Moisturizer to me (thanks, Ma!) months ago. I’ve been wearing it almost every day now because my skin has been feeling dry from the harsh weather.
This moisturizer has been a life saver, especially since it has built-in sunscreen! My skin looks dewey and glowing, even on the coldest winter days!

A face mask feels super refreshing after a long day! Lately, I’ve been loving Lush’s jelly masks!
