Hey there, lovelies! Alejandro’s cousin got married on Saturday. It was such a cute wedding–there was a live band, tasty food, and cake. What more can a girl ask for? 💛 I wanted to share my glowy wedding makeup look with y’all. I’ve also attached a link to the products I used just in case you’d like to try them!
The wedding was so much fun. I think my favorite part of the night was dancing with Alejandro. I hadn’t danced in so long and Alejandro just happens to be an amazing dancer. He definitely taught me a few moves 💗
Let’s get to the wedding makeup look!
Glowy Wedding Makeup Look
Eyes
So first off, the eyeliner! I think this is the glue that typically holds my makeup looks together. I typically go for the “Audrey Hepburn look” as she is one of my biggest style icons.
Y’all, I have tried so many different kinds of eyeliner but always go back to L’Oreal Extra Intense. I’m all about a dramatic cat-eye and I really like how effortlessly this product glides on. The liner’s only downfall is that it can smudge a bit after a while. Nevertheless, it managed to stay on pretty well as I danced the night away!
As for my mascara, I’ve been a bit lazy lately with my lashes but I was really inspired by Rachel Lindsay! I am OBSESSED with her doll eyed look and honestly am living for her eyelashes.
I’m a bit squeamish so I like to stay away from falsies. However, I really wanted that dramatic lash look that Rachel always rocks. Well, I went to Ulta and found L’Oreal’s Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara!
I LOVED that I could get a dramatic look minus the hassle of falsies. I felt feminine and sweet!
Face
Now the blush. My grandma always tells me how important this part is and I definitely took her advice!
I’m pretty pale but I have an olive undertone to my skin and I’ve found that rosy blushes typically work well with my skin color. For this look, I went with Covergirl Cheekers in natural rose.
It was a bit more subdued than I would have liked but I just applied a few extra strokes than usual and found that it blended very well. Even better, it only cost me less than $5!
Lips
Finally, the lips. My second favorite part of the look. I’m very into dark lip colors–reds, browns, burgundies, typically!
While browsing through lip colors, I fell in love with Maybelline Plum Perfect 435!
UGH, there’s nothing like a bold lip color to finish off your look. One thing to note though: as beautiful as the color was, it did not last and I found myself having to reapply a few times during the party.
If you’re on a budget though, the lipstick’s strong, smoldering color outweighs its lack of staying power.
Hair
I wanted my locks to be flowy, so I added mousse.
I am currently using Nexxus Mousse Plus Volumizing Foam and have been loving the results.
My hair is pretty curly and I’ve noticed that this mousse helps tame my frizz while still maintaining my curls!
After applying mousse, I used a 1″ curling iron and ran my fingers through my hair to soften my curls 💓
Dress
I was struggling to find a dress to wear but decided that a little black number would be perfect! My favorite detailing of the dress was actually its back. It felt cheeky yet simple enough!
I wanted to link the dress for y’all, but I borrowed it from my cousin and can’t find it anywhere online. If you’re a curvier girl like me, I definitely think the ruching effect on this dress accentuates the body nicely! I would recommend a dress with a similar detailing. You can also never go wrong with a little black dress. 💛
So, there’s my wedding look! I hope you enjoyed! Feel free to comment or message me if you have any questions about the look!
Have a magical rest of your day! 💗
