Hello, Spring 2018! Fashion Finds & Try-On Haul

Hey, loves! It’s finally spring, ahh I can’t believe it! 🌻 I’m honestly over the cold weather and can’t wait to start soaking up the sun soon. So, I haven’t been shopping in a while and my closet needed some serious updating for spring 2018!

Last Sunday, I went to the mall and picked up a few cute pieces. I’ve been really trying to step out of my fashion comfort zone lately and purposely bought clothes and accessories that aren’t already in my closet.

For the theme of this haul, I envisioned a day-time spring look. Maybe you’re going on a picnic or simply sipping on a glass of wine and enjoying the weather. These affordable pieces make it easy to look fun, flirty, and fashionable on a sunny afternoon in March!

Let’s dive right in! These are my picks from my first spring shopping trip, circa 2018!

Cocktail Rings from Charlotte Russe

When I first saw these cocktail rings at Charlotte Russe, they immediately stood out to me! I’ve been really into bolder statement pieces lately and the rings’ pastel, softer colors are stunning.

My fave out of the 4-pack is definitely the sky blue oval cut ring. Its elegant detailing and simplistic cut make it the perfect statement piece for any day or nighttime outfit!

Stud & Drop Earrings from Charlotte Russe

Another lovely statement piece! I usually tend to stick to stud earrings just because they’re pretty hassle-free and don’t get in the way of everyday activities. I couldn’t help but gravitate towards these earrings though!

While the studs align more with my simplistic style, the drop earrings work well for formal events, like a spring wedding or date night! Super cute!

After a lot of searching, I couldn’t find these exact earrings on Charlotte Russe’s website, but they have a comparable set listed for only $5.00!

Ballet Flats from Target

For me, ballet-flats are definitely a must-have when it comes to shoes! They’re versatile and can be dressed up or worn with jeans and a tee. I was in need of a good pair of flats that weren’t too heavily patterned and fell in love with Target’s Ona Round toe ballet flats. These shoes are stylish, lightweight, and cozy! 

Striped Off-The-Shoulder Top from Aéropostale

I feel chic and sexy in this striped lettuce-trim top from Aéro! For my everyday outfit, I paired it with some high waisted jeans. Transitioning from a day-to-night look is also simple with these jeans! Just swap the jeans with a bodycon skirt — an effortlessly fab ensemble!

Striped Peplum Tank from Aéropostale

This tank top is absolutely adorable and gives me sweet, romantic vibes! I adore its baby pink color and peplum hem. Wearing this top also brings me out of my comfort zone because of its low cut. I’ve always had a small chest and when I was younger, I felt really insecure about it.

Recently, I’ve been rocking it and trying my best to be as body positive as possible! I love that the tank accentuates my body and can’t wait to wear it out soon!

Floral Long-Sleeved Romper from Mandee

The final piece, a trendy little number from Mandee! The romper’s bell-sleeves, floral print, and v-neckline instantly won me over!

I’ve never been able to find the perfect romper and was excited that it fit like a glove! Also, its bright colors make it a gorgeous fashion statement for the season!

Unfortunately, Mandee’s website didn’t list my romper but I found a very similar one at a great price–only $14.99!
